The Maryland Technology Development Corporation’s (TEDCO) Seed Fund invested $1.2 million in five state startups’ funding rounds, the fund announced Tuesday.

Local cybersecurity software firm Bandura Systems has raised $3.5 million in a seed round to expand sales and development.  

This work was supported by National Institutes of Health grants and a Maryland Innovation Initiative award from TEDCO to Atul Bedi and Rajani Ravi.  

The program, a collaboration with Vheda Health, launched in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk and Highlands counties in October 2017.
