Lauren Knights serves as TEDCO’s Grant Writer and Development Specialist, where she collaborates closely with the Chief Development & Marketing Officer to secure external funding and support the organization's growth initiatives.
Lauren's professional experience includes conducting thorough research to support academic and policy-related projects and developing comprehensive business and marketing strategies. As a writer and web designer since 2019, she has successfully crafted compelling content, engaging website designs, and effective digital marketing campaigns for various clients and businesses.
Prior to joining TEDCO, Lauren worked as an IT Technician at DLA Piper. She also served as a fundraiser for Save the Children, where she organized events and secured donations to support underrepresented communities.
In addition to her professional work, Lauren has organized events focusing on social sensitivity and mental health awareness, demonstrating her commitment to fostering open dialogue and understanding in these important areas. She is currently a volunteer at the Museum of The Bible, where she shares her knowledge with visitors, and is actively involved in community volunteer work.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys writing, gardening, staying active, and playing video games. She has a deep love for research and anthropology, which fuel her curiosity and passion for exploring diverse cultures and human experiences.
