Ann Liebschutz

Ann is an Intellectual Property Attorney and Expert in government research & development (R&D) programs. She is the Founder of AML Global LLC (https://www.amlgloballlc.com), an advisory company specializing in both U.S. and international R&D and technology programs. The nature of her work has her tracking the most current developments in emerging technologies and changing areas of intellectual property law. 

In addition to her current work, Ann served as a Legislative Assistant & Counsel in the U.S. Senate. While working as Senior Staff in the U.S. Senate, she managed a diverse legislative portfolio which included Commerce, NASA, Science & Technology, Homeland Security, Aviation, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Workforce Development issues. 

Ann has a degree in Physics from Lake Forest College and a Law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she specialized in Intellectual Property.  While in law school, Ann served on the Executive Editorial Board for the Journal of Computer & Information Law.   In addition to her work in Federal R&D programs, she participates in organizational programs with the International Republican Institute [IRI] and the American Bar Association [ABA].  For IRI, Ann has deployed as an International Election Observer, a trainer in organizational management, and is an advisor to IRI’s Women’s Democracy Network Council.  Through her professional work and civic involvement, Ann has worked in over 20 countries.
